By the order of Archbishop Khajag Hagopian, Prelate, this Sunday June 2nd all
Prelacy churches across Canada will offer prayers and bless the tricolor flag on the occasion
of the 95th anniversary of the first Armenian Republic. Requiem service will be offered for the souls
of the fallen heroes of Sardarabad, Bash Abaran, Gharakilise, and the new martyrs of the struggle for Artsakh.

This Saturday is also the feast of St Gregory the Illuminator,
on the occasion of his deliverance from the pit (Khor Virab).

As it is tradition in the Armenian church we will commemorate the name day of our parish,
and our ladies guild will be preparing Harissa for lunch, and to take home as a
blessing for the sick and those who couldn’t attend.
