Dear Parishioners and friends,

As we remember and pay tribute to our fellow

Canadian soldiers who have bravely given their lives
in the service of their country, we are saddened

and justly infuriated to hear of the recent barbaric actions
of the Azerbaijani military, that shot down a

Nagorno-Karabakh military helicopter out on a routine drill.

The aggressor accuses the helicopter of opening

fire on Azerbaijani forces, a claim that Armenian Defense
Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovannisyan

called “absurd,” since it wasn’t carrying any ammunition.

Ironically, a video shot by the actual Azerbaijani armed

forces who launched the attack, clearly portrays
the truth: No aggression on the part of the martyred Armenian

helicopter unit, and an increasing thirst for warfare on the part of Baku.
