Dear Parishioners and Friends,
It is a well known and anticipated tradition in the Armenian Church to have
” Mitchink “
” Mitchink “
halfway through the Great Lent.
The faithful observing lent, gather on this day for a prayer service
then to feast together and enjoy delicious Lenten dishes.
Another reason of this coming together, is to encourage each other for the second half of
the Lenten period, with renewed commitment.
the Lenten period, with renewed commitment.
This year Mitchink will be held this coming Friday March 28th.
The service will start at 7 pm followed by the feast at 8 pm.
Since our monthly BBQ nights are postponed during the Lenten Season (NO BBQ on April 4th)
Mitchink will be a great opportunity to gather and enjoy God’s (vegetarian) gifts.
