The BC Conservatory of Music’s Senior String Ensemble (in which
one of our young parishioners performs), performed at the
Old Age home where our Archdeacon Antranig
Sargavak Teghararian resides, on Sunday March 30th.
The elderly living at the Home, as well as many members
from our community attended the event, at the end of which
Fr. Hrant presented Deacon Antranig with the new church
vestments sown for all the those serving on the altar.
Antranig hadn’t had the chance to see or wear his vestment
since he entered the Old Age home after a few health complications.
We are all hopeful and prayerful that he will one day return to the altar
with his health improving. Until then, we though it rightful for him
to also have his own vestment after 92 years of faithful service.
